Upcoming events

This will be our scouting routine for Ghana in july.

In collaboration with other credible industry players, we have carefully designed this July scouting event to discover the most talented young footballers in the country.

Our goal is to discover top talented players and give them an opportunity that will set them on a smooth path to international and professional career levels.

We will also use the opportunity to connect with local industry players like coaches, scouts, and team owners and managers to build a relationship and work together to effectively help young players to gain International opportunities.

We will do Accra, Tamale, and Sogakope in the Volta region respectively. You can find more information on the attached flyer.

“Kakawa sports Investment Limited To Promote Grassroot Talent Discovery Through Meaningful Partnership” Says COO Augustine Ogee

Kakawa Sports Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Kakawa Investment Management which is a financial asset and instrument investing company aims to make meaningful investments in grassroots football development through partnerships that will help promote talents to top European countries and clubs to aid the growth of their career.

Speaking to Sports247, Augustine Ogee who is the acting Chief Operating Officer of Kakawa Sports Investment Limited spoke on the plans of the company and how they intend to achieve it and keep the standard as well.

“Our aim is to make meaningful investments in football as we’re looking for the right partnership with foreign clubs abroad to deliver value to the local talents here in Nigeria and Africa as a whole,” Augustine said.

He also explained that this kind of relationship is what they have done before and intend to continue doing in a bid to “unearth more of Africa’s talent”.

“We recently concluded a project last month where we partnered with Ammonite Football Agency in the Netherlands, we had their head coach and chief scout here in Lagos for a while and we organized a scouting tournament with homegrown football academies like Collins Edwin SC, Devlat FC, FC Bethel Int’l, Sheba FC Ibadan, Team 360 and many others up to about 15 clubs. Taking into account high profile officiating, media documentation, and coverage with exposure for these players and our partners,” he explained.

Mr. Augustine told Sports247 that five exceptional talents between the ages of 18 and 19 were finally selected and will be given the opportunity to get trials with clubs in Europe such as FC Utrecht in the Netherlands, Spanish Segunda A, and B sides through Ammonite Football Agency in the Netherlands.

Kakawa Sports Investment Limited not only fight to get greener pastures for these players but also manage them after their movement, providing camping opportunities for young talent abroad in other to put them into the kind of environment they should expect, help them acclimatize as well as give them the right footballing education to help these lads settle comfortably when they eventually get signed into European clubs and limit the challenges of settling in.

This is no doubt one of the things we live for and love to see, more opportunities for grassroots football, more investments in talent development, more exposure, and certainly more exports from better relationships.
